Chevron Data Center - San Ramon, CA
Westinghouse DS416 and DS632
Ampteks was commissioned by Chevron headquarters located in San Ramon, CA
and Emerson - Electrical Reliability Services to provide our
comprehensive circuit breaker maintenance program for a critical data center
reliability project.
Not only did this include our
comprehensive maintenance program and retrofitting with the latest
Cutler-Hammer Digitrip 510's with arc-flash reduction,
we also added 120VAC shunt trips, auxiliary switches, and secondary
disconnects to the DS416's. We also converted all DS632's to electric
operation by replacing the manual charging mechanisms with electrically
operated mechanisms and adding 120VAC charging motors and
associated anti-pump relays, motor cut-off switchs, closing coils, shunt trips and auxiliary
switches wired specifically to the clients drawing and options numbers.
This is the first of two projects with
a total of 18- DS416 and 9- DS632's
